Job summary

Amazon Inc. is seeking a Program Manager, short term planner to drive high-visibility logistics and technology solutions. You will forecast demand, analyze capacity, and sync supply and demand across 13-week to 52-week horizons to meet customer needs.

In this role, you will partner with operations, finance, and leadership to deliver near-term network plans, and you will champion data-backed decisions and continuous improvement across Fulfillment Centers and Transportation teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• 3+ years cross-functional experience with tech and non-tech teams.
• 3+ years defining and implementing process improvements using data and metrics.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and SQL.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Manage the short and medium term forecast, capacity and peak planning for USF Network.
• Work in partnership with operations team to set optimal network plans and transportation choices to meet on-time delivery goals.
• Define a near term vision and plan to deliver it driving continuous delivery customer experience improvement by collaborating with stakeholders on design of new solutions that enhance business performance and achieve established quality and efficiency goals.
• Inspect demand forecasts, capacity plans critically and challenge assumptions from business teams.
• Provide high quality inputs and garner alignment with finance and leadership teams using a combination of in-person meetings, well written data backed documents, detailed business models or presentations.
• Identify and evaluate potential risks/obstacles within both internal and external business environment with minimal direction.
