Job summary

Pentair in Reynosa, Mexico, is seeking a Production Planner to coordinate and execute production planning across value streams and product lines. You will develop and adjust schedules based on demand, capacity, and inventory, collaborating with Production, Materials, Purchasing, and Order Management to ensure on-time delivery.

The role emphasizes maintaining the Master Production Schedule (MPS), identifying constraints, and proactively adapting plans as conditions change.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Production Planning, Scheduling, Master Scheduling, Materials Planning, or Supply Chain within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, MRP/MPS, capacity planning, and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and adjust daily and weekly production schedules based on customer demand, backlog, material availability, capacity, and inventory requirements.
• Coordinate with Production Managers to align schedules with short- and long-term requirements, priorities, and capacity constraints.
• Support the Master Production Schedule (MPS) execution, ensuring alignment between demand and manufacturing capabilities.
• Release, prioritize, and sequence manufacturing orders based on production requirements, material availability, and capacity.
• Monitor capacity, material availability, and potential shortages to adjust production schedules proactively.
• Utilize MRP information, forecasts, backlog, inventory, and expected material receipts to support planning decisions.
• Communicate production priorities and schedule changes to key stakeholders.
• Monitor schedule attainment, on-time delivery, backlog, inventory levels, and shortages.
