Job summary

IMI plc in Querétaro is seeking a Production Planning Supervisor to translate S&OP into a robust Master Production Schedule that aligns with customer demand and capacity. You will ensure headcount, materials, and ERP signals drive reliable production.

The role requires strong planning leadership, metrics discipline, and cross-functional coordination across production, materials, procurement, logistics, and quality to maintain on-time delivery and inventory visibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in production planning, MPS, materials planning, or supply chain.
• Experience leading planning activities in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Strong ERP and planning tool proficiency required.
• Ability to translate demand into actionable production plans.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead the S&OP process, ensuring demand, capacity, material availability, inventory strategy, backlog, and business priorities are translated into clear planning actions.
• Translate the S&OP plan into the Master Production Schedule to support customer requirements and production volumes.
• Monitor production planning metrics such as OTD, backlog, and schedule attainment.
• Review and validate planning actions to reduce discrepancies and ensure forecast accuracy.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve planning issues and align priorities.
