Google in Mexico City is seeking a strategic Partner Manager for the News Partnerships team, focusing on LATAM and the Mexican market. You will manage relationships with news publishers and key opinion formers, lead negotiations, and drive cross-functional product and policy initiatives with LATAM and global teams.

The role demands strong problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and fluency in English and Spanish.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in business, partnerships, or similar roles in the news and publishing industry.
• Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently

Responsabilidades

• Identify, prioritize, and cultivate relationships with key news publishers and ecosystem stakeholders; analyze their business models and strategic priorities to unlock audience and business growth opportunities across our platforms.
• Serve as the primary liaison for new product features and distribution opportunities; lead partnership negotiations and drive technical/commercial implementations in close coordination with Product and Marketing teams.
• Partner closely with internal organizations—including Product, GAPP, Large Customer Sales, Media Buying Solutions, and Marketing—to resolve partner escalations, scale product initiatives, and present a unified News Partnerships strategy.
• Drive ecosystem investments and strategic programs; conceptualize and deliver partner trainings, 1-on-1 engagements, and represent industry events for both large and small news publishers.
• Collect and synthesize actionable market, performer, and publisher insights to inform regional strategy, ensuring the end-to-end execution of News Partnerships goals using available resources.
