MKS Instruments in Querétaro, Mexico is seeking an Indirect/MRO Buyer to partner with internal customers to create Purchase Orders based on business needs.

You will report to the Procurement Supervisor and focus on obtaining materials, quotes, bids, and awards, while planning material requirements and maintaining inventory at planned levels.

This role requires 3+ years of related experience, a degree or equivalent, and strong communication skills; CPIM/APICS certification is a plus.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and good writing and oral communication skills.
• CPIM and/or APICS certification preferred.
• 3+ years of related experience.
• Must be able to exchange accurate information.
• The ability to observe documents and details at close range.

Responsabilidades

• Obtaining materials, components and equipment.
• Gathers quotations, examines bids, and makes awards.
• Determines material requirements from engineering and production schedules, and maintains inventory at planned levels.
• Plans, schedules and monitors for the movement of materials through the production cycle.
• Evaluates vendor reliability, develops new supply sources where vendors and suppliers are inadequate.
