MKS Instruments, Inc. is seeking a Procurement Manager in Nogales, Mexico. The role plans and drives material purchases, directs buyers and expediters, and ensures approvals for high‑value acquisitions to support manufacturing.

The position collaborates with engineering and production teams to maintain planned inventories, develop procurement policies, and manage subcontracts. A Bachelor’s degree with CPIM/APICS certification is preferred, with 5+ years of related experience.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• CPIM and/or APICS certification preferred.
• 5+ years of related experience.

Responsabilidades

• Plans and implements procurement activities for materials, parts, components, and equipment.
• Directs buyers and expediters to meet company objectives.
• Reviews and approves purchases up to a specified dollar amount.
• May negotiate major contracts involving large sums.
• Develops policies and procedures for procurement operations.
• Monitors cost, schedule and performance of major subcontracts.
• Coordinates purchasing with engineering and manufacturing to maintain inventories.
• Assist with establishment and maintenance of the production control system.
• Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel for the function.
• Reports to Purchasing manager.
