MKS Instruments is seeking a seasoned Procurement Manager in Nogales, Sonora to lead material, parts, and equipment purchasing. You will supervise buyers and expediters, review purchases, and negotiate major contracts to meet cost, schedule, and quality goals.

Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to keep inventories aligned with plan, develop procurement policies, and mentor staff. A Bachelor’s degree and CPIM/APICS certification are preferred, with 5+ years of related experience.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• CPIM and/or APICS certification preferred.
• 5+ years of related experience.

Responsabilidades

• Plans and implements procurement of materials, parts, components, and equipment.
• Directs buyers and expediters to meet company objectives.
• Reviews and approves purchases up to specified dollar amounts.
• Negotiates major contracts involving large dollar amounts.
• Develops policies and procedures for procurement operations.
• Monitors cost, schedule and performance of major subcontracts.
• Coordinates purchasing with engineering and manufacturing to maintain planned inventories.
• May assist with establishment/maintenance of production control system.
• Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure efficient operation.
