FLF is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to lead our HR strategy, strengthen leadership capability, ensure compliance, and advise executive leadership in a fast-growing international law firm environment. Based in Guadalajara or Tijuana, this on-site role requires deep knowledge of U.S.

employment standards and the ability to balance business goals with employee experience across U.S. and Mexican operations.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including senior leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. employment law and HR best practices.
• Experience supporting U.S.-based organizations from Mexico.
• Experience in professional services, legal services, insurance, healthcare, or other regulated industries is highly preferred.
• Proven experience partnering with executive leadership on strategic business initiatives.
• Outstanding leadership, coaching, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work full‑time onsite in Guadalajara or Tijuana.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute the firm's HR strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Partner with executive leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, and long‑term growth initiatives.
• Lead succession planning, talent strategies, and organizational capability development.
• Identify people‑related risks and develop proactive business solutions.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to executives and department leaders on leadership effectiveness and performance management.
• Coach managers on leadership and employee relations, and develop leadership programs.
• Lead organizational change initiatives to support growth and operational excellence.
• Oversee learning, development, and governance to drive culture and engagement.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. employment regulations and Mexican labor regulations.

Educación

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related discipline
