albo is seeking an FP&A Analyst to join its Finance team in Mexico City. You will support budgeting, forecasting, monthly closing, and performance reporting, translating financial data into actionable insights to drive business performance.

You will collaborate with Accounting, Business, Product, and People teams, building and improving financial models, dashboards, and management reports. Fluency in English is a plus; the role emphasizes accuracy, timing, and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administração, or a related field.
• Experience in banking/fintech FP&A, planning, analysis or controlling.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting and KPIs.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets, building financial models.
• Experience with management reports and variance analysis.
• Strong analytical skills and data-to-insights capability.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder skills.

Responsabilités

• Support the preparation and ongoing update of budgets, forecasts, and financial models.

About the role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical FP&A Analyst to join albo’s Finance team and work closely with the FP&A Manager.

In this role, you will support financial planning, forecasting, monthly closing, and performance reporting, helping ensure accurate and timely financial information. You will analyze business results, identify key trends and variances, and translate financial data into actionable insights to support decision-making and drive business performance.

What you’ll be doing at albo:

• Support the preparation and ongoing update of budgets, financial forecasts, and financial models.
• Actively participate in the monthly closing process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in collaboration with Accounting and other teams.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, management presentations, and KPI tracking.
• Analyze actual results against budget and forecast, identifying key variances, business drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Monitor revenue, COGS, operating expenses, and profitability across business lines and cost centers.
• Maintain and improve financial models to support business planning, scenario analysis, and profitability assessments.
• Support budget monitoring and expense control across departments, providing visibility into spending trends and deviations.
• Identify opportunities to improve, standardize, and automate financial reporting, controls, and analysis processes.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and actionable insights to support management decisions and business initiatives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, Business, Product, People, and other teams to ensure data consistency and alignment.

About you and what type of skills you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Solid experience in Banking or Fintech, ideally in FP&A, financial planning, financial analysis, or controlling.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, P&L analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance metrics.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, with experience building and maintaining financial models.
• Experience preparing management reports and analyzing actuals against budget and forecast.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience in a fast-paced technology company or startup environment.
• Familiarity with BI and data visualization tools.
• Knowledge of SQL, data analysis, or reporting automation.
• Experience supporting monthly closing processes and collaborating with Accounting teams.
• Advanced English proficiency.
