Job summary

Sulzer is seeking an FP&A Specialist in Mexico City to support budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting. You will analyze variances, contribute to financial modeling, and assist in presenting to management, enabling informed strategic decisions.

The role requires 2–4 years in FP&A or related fields, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work both independently and with teams. Bilingual Spanish preferred; English helpful.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of FP&A, financial analysis, or accounting experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, financial modeling).
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred) and BI tools.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Attention to detail and high level of precision in work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in Spanish; intermediate English is desirable.
• Proactivity and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term plans.
• Perform variance analysis between actual and budgeted/forecasted results, identifying causes and implications.
• Collaborate in the preparation of periodic financial reports for local and corporate management.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of financial models to support business initiatives.
• Participate in finance process improvement projects.
• Collect and analyze financial data from various sources to identify trends and opportunities.
• Maintain the integrity and accuracy of financial data used in analyses.
• Support the preparation of financial presentations for different audiences.
