Jabil in Baja California, Mexico, seeks a Purchasing Specialist to optimize material costs and develop the supplier base. You will negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements for strategic materials and supervise Purchasing staff within the workcell.

Responsibilities include analyzing component purchase prices, improving MPV/PPV, and collaborating to advance Jabil SCM initiatives, ensuring optimal supplier performance and cost control across the unit.

Formación

• Ability to analyze complex data to project component purchase prices.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with managers, clients and suppliers.
• Proficient in PC-based tools and Windows OS environments.
• Experience with standard costing, budgeting and financial principles.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze and project component purchase prices reflecting inventory value.
• Negotiate terms and agreements for strategic materials.
• Develop and manage supplier base and AML for customer projects.
• Monitor supplier performance on cost, delivery and quality.
• Support SCM initiatives and cost-reduction programs.
