Jabil in Mexico seeks an experienced procurement specialist to manage MRP and optimize material costs. You will develop strategic supplier bases, support customer needs, and collaborate closely with Purchasing and SCM to meet demands while negotiating favorable terms and improving performance.

The role emphasizes cost reduction, supplier evaluation, and proactive collaboration with internal teams to sustain supply and quality commitments for key programs.

Formación

• Ability to analyze figures and costs related to materials and purchasing.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for internal and supplier interactions.
• Ability to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize supplier performance.

Responsabilidades

• Manage MRP to balance material supply with demand and optimize total material cost.
• Develop supply base and supply chain strategies tailored to customer or BU needs.
• Collaborate with Purchasing and SCM to meet customer requirements and drive efficiency.
• Conduct supplier audits, visits, certifications, and performance reviews for improvement.
• Quote, re-quote, and negotiate to reduce material costs and improve MPV/PPV.
• Negotiate terms protecting Jabil and customers, including AML considerations.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement with Materials Planners.
