Jabil in Mexico is seeking a Purchasing professional to optimize overall material costs and develop strategic supply sources. The role includes negotiating pricing, terms, and agreements, and supervising purchasing staff within the workcell.

You will analyze component prices, support recruiting, and drive sourcing improvements aligned with SCM initiatives. Strong data analysis and supplier management skills are essential.

Formación

• Ability to present information to groups of managers and stakeholders.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
• Advanced PC skills and familiarity with company software.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and use Windows-based tools.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and data interpretation.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze and project component purchase prices reflecting inventory value.
• Support hiring activities and staff training in purchasing workcell.
• Optimize overall cost of materials and MPV/PPV performance.
• Improve sourcing by adding strategic suppliers to AML with customers.
• Negotiate terms that protect company interests and reduce costs.
• Monitor supplier performance on cost, delivery, and quality.
• Manage materials unique to the business unit.
