Jabil is seeking a strategic Purchasing professional to optimize overall materials cost, develop supply bases, and drive SCM initiatives within the Business Unit. You will negotiate pricing and terms, supervise Purchasing staff in the workcell, and collaborate with internal teams to secure competitive supplier agreements that support plant goals in Tijuana.

• Strong ability to present information to managers and clients.
• Proficient PC skills and knowledge of standard software.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze and project component purchase prices to reflect inventory value in standard costing.
• Assist hiring manager in recruiting and hiring activities.
• Provide training and development for workcell Purchasing staff.
• Optimize overall cost of materials and support SCM initiatives.
• Expand supplier AML lists and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance on cost, delivery and quality.
