Mercor is seeking a Strategic Project Associate to execute large-scale projects for leading AI labs and tech companies. You will manage multimillion-dollar portfolios, coordinate hundreds of domain experts, and resolve data-quality issues to ensure high-quality delivery.

This non-entry-level role offers ownership early in your career, exposure to frontier AI, and rapid growth within a fast-paced U.S. startup. Location is remote, with Mexico City as the intended base.

Formación

• 0 - 3 years of professional experience.
• Strong analytical thinking and pattern recognition.
• Strong problem-solving skills and structured thinking.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ownership, urgency, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage several workstreams simultaneously.
• Comfort with ambiguous situations and taking initiative.
• Interest in using AI tools with critical thinking.
• Evidence of initiative or leadership in any setting.

Responsabilidades

• Execute complex, large-scale projects for leading AI labs and technology companies.
• Help manage multimillion-dollar project portfolios with strong delivery and outcomes.
• Source, onboard, and manage hundreds of domain experts across diverse fields.
• Monitor project performance and investigate issues before delivery impact.
• Develop understanding of data quality and its impact on AI model performance.
• Anticipate blockers, prioritize needs, and act with initiative.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, communicating progress and risks.
• Collaborate with Strategic Project Leads, Operations, Engineering, and ML teams to meet objectives.
• Design and improve processes to operate more accurately, efficiently, and at scale.
• Identify opportunities to expand projects and add value.
