WP Payment Services Mexico S.A. de C.V. is seeking a Storage Administrator to manage enterprise storage platforms, ensure capacity planning, optimize performance, and execute backups and recoveries.

You will handle data migrations, provisioning, and host mappings while maintaining reliability and security. The role requires strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python), cross-team collaboration, and English proficiency.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
• Experience with enterprise storage systems, SAN technologies, and data protection solutions.
• Knowledge of Fibre Channel, storage networking, replication, and backup technologies.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux host integration and storage administration concepts.
• Basic scripting and automation experience using PowerShell, Python, or similar technologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate across infrastructure teams.
• Advanced level of English.

Responsabilidades

• Administers and supports enterprise storage platforms, including storage provisioning, capacity management, and performance optimization.
• Completes storage allocation, backup and recovery, data migration, replication, and connectivity requests.
• Creates, removes, and expands storage volumes, file systems, and host mappings while maintaining operational standards.
• Provides SAN switch and fabric monitoring, configuration, troubleshooting, and support.
• Assists with storage platform upgrades, hardware refreshes, and lifecycle management activities.
• Develops automation and operational efficiencies through scripting and process improvements.
• Creates and maintains technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
• Collaborates with server, database, virtualization, and network teams to deliver reliable infrastructure services.
• Participates in change management, incident response, and problem resolution activities.
• May require rotating 24x7 on-call support responsibility as well as weekend support.
• Other related duties assigned as needed.
