OPmobility is seeking an IT Infrastructure Operations Specialist to oversee datacenter and server room operations across regions. You will provide L2/L3 support for physical and virtual servers, manage cloud services, and drive disaster recovery and business continuity.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in IT infrastructure, VMware Cloud Foundation experience, and relevant certifications. Strong documentation, collaboration with regional teams, and adherence to IT standards are essential.

Reporting to the Global IT Infrastructure Operations Leader - DC & Server Room operations, the Global IT Infrastructure Operations Specialist - DC & Server Room provides L2/L3 Operations support to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of datacenter and server room operations, across Regions and Business Groups.

Main responsibilities include:

DC and server room infrastructure operations management

• Provide L2/L3 support of Server and Datacenter infrastructures, as well as the provisioning, configuration, and deployment of physical and virtual servers.
• Manage the integration and operation of cloud services, ensuring seamless connectivity and performance.
• Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Ensure the Implementation and uphold of IT standards, policies, and best practices defined at a Group Level

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Maintain comprehensive documentation for the Service Desk to limit the intervention of Level 2 support, improving efficiency and first-call resolution rates.
• Coordinate with Regional IT teams to provide support and expertise in datacenter, server management, cloud, and related IT domains.
• Assist regional teams in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues, ensuring consistent service delivery across regions.
• Coordinate with the Techpole to implement and ensure adherence to the standards defined by the Group.

Required profile & experience

• IT specialization or equivalent by experience.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on datacenter operations, server management, and cloud services.
• Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).
• Professional certifications in VMware, Microsoft, or Red Hat technologies (e.g., VCP, VCAP, MCSE/role-based Microsoft certifications, RHCSA/RHCE).
• Knowledge in the exploitation, maintenance, administration, supervision and support of IT services.
• Good knowledge of datacenter infrastructure, and proficiency in managing and maintaining physical and virtual servers
• Knowledge of antivirus solutions, cybersecurity practices, and compliance requirements.
• Experience with enterprise backup and recovery solutions.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with operational data, statistics, reporting, and compliance metrics.
