Nubank, the leading digital bank in Latin America, is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to lead the Product Workflow Reinvention initiative within Global Products. This high-impact 0-to-1 role will shape AI-native product design, specifications, and build the internal platforms that ship weekly improvements.

As the foundational engineer, you will own end-to-end architecture, create platform primitives, and design agentic workflows that scale safely and affordably.

Formación

• Senior Staff-Level Engineering Experience in backend or platform systems at scale.
• End-to-End Architectural Ownership with design docs/RFCs and primitives for engineers.
• 0-to-1 Platform Delivery leading ambiguous initiatives and rapid iteration.
• Built for other builders: internal tools or platforms used by product creators.
• AI and agentic conviction with examples of using AI tools to accelerate workflows.
• Executive Communication & Alignment with senior stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the architecture of the orchestration layer as the system of record.
• Design AI-native platform primitives and state management.
• Make agents reliable and affordable with design patterns and cost considerations.
• Ship first-generation workflow tools to remove slow steps in the lifecycle.
• Operate in a high-autonomy, greenfield environment translating vision into architecture and roadmaps.
