Nubank is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to be the foundational technical lead for the Product Workflow Reinvention team, shaping an AI-native approach to how products are designed, specified, and built. You will own end-to-end architecture and build internal platforms that enable weekly product improvements.

• Proven track record designing, building, and operating complex backend or platform systems at scale.
• Ability to set technical direction, write design docs/RFCs, and define primitives used by other engineers.
• Lead ambiguous platform initiatives from discovery to launch with rapid iteration.
• Experience building internal tools or platforms used by product teams with real adoption.
• Demonstrated conviction in AI/LLM agents and agentic workflows with practical examples.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the architecture of the orchestration layer as the system of record, including data models and spec delivery to domain agents.
• Design AI-native platform primitives and state-management for agentic workflows.
• Create reliable, cost-effective agentic workflows with evaluation harnesses and integration patterns.
• Ship first-generation workflow tools to remove slow steps from research to code, data access to ops automation.
• Translate broad product vision into concrete architectural decisions and roadmaps in a greenfield environment.
