Carrier Global Corporation in Monterrey, Mexico is seeking a Staff Controls Engineer to lead distributed teams and develop production-ready controls for HVAC and refrigeration systems. The role emphasizes model-based design, system identification, and robust verification across MIL/SIL/HIL environments.

You will work with system engineers to ensure requirements are met, and you will apply advanced control theory using MATLAB tools.

Formación

• B.S. or higher in engineering with 7+ years in controls or MS/PhD with 5+ years in controls.
• Proficient in feedback/linear/nonlinear and multivariable control.
• Experience with MIL/SIL/HIL testing and system integration.

Responsabilidades

• Lead small cross-disciplinary teams of engineers across global sites.
• Develop production-ready control solutions for HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Define development and verification plans; conduct technical reviews.
• Analyze nonlinear dynamics; validate with system identification and optimization.
• Coordinate control architecture decisions including PLC and embedded modules.
