Carrier Global Corporation in Mexico City seeks a Calculation Engine Developer to design, implement, test, and optimize advanced calculation engines for HVAC product offerings and sales tools. You will work across teams to translate customer needs into robust engineering algorithms and validate model accuracy.

The role requires a Master’s or PhD in Thermal Engineering or related field, 2+ years of experience, and hands-on programming in Python, Modelica, or C++.

Formación

• Master’s degree or PhD in Thermal Engineering, Refrigeration and Air‑Conditioning, Fluid Machinery, or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 2+ years of relevant engineering experience with a Master’s degree (or equivalent with a PhD).
• Strong foundational knowledge in heat transfer, thermodynamics, and numerical analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain state‑of‑the‑art calculation engines for HVAC product offerings and sales tools.
• Apply numerical methods to create accurate engineering algorithms.
• Collaborate with optimization engineers to improve algorithms and performance predictions.
• Work cross‑functionally with marketing, product engineering, and global teams to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Support integration of calculation engines into modeling and configuration platforms.
• Ensure model accuracy, robustness, and maintainability through validation and testing.
• Resolve complex challenges related to numerical stability and convergence.
