The Staff Accountant, HBO Max Content will be a member of the Streaming Accounting Controllership team based in Mexico City, Mexico. The Accounting Controllership Team is responsible for monthly and quarterly US GAAP reporting, review of account reconciliations and support for global financial reporting processes. Everyday responsibilities include ensuring compliance during audits, as well as with SEC and SOX guidelines. The Team closely collaborates with other relevant stakeholders, including Business Affairs, Finance, Legal, Operations, Tax, as well as external service providers. The Staff Accountant, HBO Max Content is essential in supporting the Streaming Segment Content Accounting for HBO Max. This individual will be responsible for month‑end and quarterly activities related to the content lifecycle. This role is critical to ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial records and ensuring compliance with US GAAP and company policies.
