Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. in Mexico City is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer/SRE to design, build, and maintain cloud environments, including infrastructure as code, Kubernetes deployments, and the observability stack.

You will implement Terraform-based deployments, GitOps workflows, and high-availability and disaster recovery strategies while collaborating with Fortune 500 brands and startups. Flexible remote/office options are available.

Qualifications

4+ years of hands-on experience designing and operating infrastructure on a major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Proven Terraform and GitOps experience for automated deployments.
Demonstrated experience deploying, configuring, and managing production Kubernetes clusters.
Proficiency in Python programming for infrastructure automation and tooling.
Experience with Grafana, Thanos, Tempo for observability and tracing.
Experience designing High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) failover plans.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
Deploy and manage production Kubernetes clusters with declarative GitOps workflows.
Write production Python code to create custom tools and automation scripts.
Maintain telemetry using Grafana, Tempo, Loki, and Thanos for logs, metrics, and tracing.
Design and test HA and DR strategies to meet uptime and recovery requirements.
