AgileEngine is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to operate and improve a Kubernetes-based API platform across public and private clouds, focusing on automation, tooling and incident management to keep services reliable.

You should have 4+ years of Kubernetes production experience, strong Linux fundamentals, and cloud exposure (AWS or Azure). We offer USD-based compensation, flextime with remote and office options, and a collaborative, growth-focused culture.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on Kubernetes production experience.
• Strong Linux and command line fundamentals.
• Experience with a public cloud provider (AWS or Azure).
• Familiarity with observability tooling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Kubernetes-based platform across public and private clouds.
• Work with observability tooling to ensure actionable alerts and up-to-date runbooks.
• Manage incidents end-to-end, including root cause analysis and post-incident reviews.
• Onboard and support new clients onto the platform.
• Build automation and diagnostic tooling to reduce manual effort and improve performance.
• Identify and deliver process improvements.
• Support software and hardware upgrades and keep components up to date.
• Proactively manage capacity to scale the platform with demand.
