Job description

Job Description

Just imagine turning a major workforce-management implementation into stable, trusted employee services. Then make it real.

About the role

As our Senior Specialist, Time & Absence Management, you’ll own the operational health, quality and governance of high-volume Time and Absence services. You’ll manage complex escalations, strengthen controls and integrate business changes into reliable daily operations.

Required Qualifications
  • Built 3–5 years of experience in Time and Absence, human resources operations, payroll-connected services or a comparable environment.
  • Led complex operational escalations through root-cause analysis, containment and corrective actions.
  • Delivered projects involving operational impact assessments, change readiness and user acceptance testing.
  • Translated service data into risk assessments, operational controls and improvement decisions.
  • Applied Time and Absence process experience to understand and manage downstream payroll impacts.
  • Coached Advisors and Senior Advisors through cross-training, documentation and backup planning.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Used Workday Human Capital Management and ServiceNow in a shared-services or service-management environment, UKG knowledge and T&A Platforms.
  • Supported major implementations, transitions, regulatory changes or service-stabilisation activities.
  • Used Power BI to identify service trends, risks or recurring defects.
  • Presented operational recommendations to global or regional management audiences.
What you’ll build
  • Strong governance across Time and Absence policies, controls and service-level commitments.
  • Sustainable corrective plans that reduce recurring defects and senior-management dependency.
  • A prioritised improvement roadmap informed by service data and quality reviews.
  • Operational readiness for system changes, transitions and the workforce-management implementation.
  • Clear documentation, cross-training and dependable backup capability across the team.
  • Effective stakeholder forums with Payroll, Centres of Expertise and partner teams.

If you’ve worked in a role where you’ve guided complex operational issues to closure, you’ll feel at home here. What matters most is turning operational insight into better decisions, stronger controls and sustainable improvements that employees and stakeholders can trust.

Life on the team

Employee Service Operations delivers Time and Absence, Benefits and Learning Administration services. You’ll work closely with Advisors, Senior Advisors, Payroll and partner teams, creating accountability and sharing knowledge across functions and cultures.

What success looks like

You’ll establish stable services while integrating the workforce-management implementation and strengthening stakeholder management. You’ll help the team move from issue resolution towards prevention, working closely with Payroll, Centres of Expertise, partner teams and the Employee Service Operations Manager.
