Vertiv is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the Pune Mechanical COE team, driving project planning and tracking, and collaborating with LOB leaders and SMEs. You will act as the SME for Mechanical CAD tools and processes across the business, reporting on KPIs and SLAs to ensure on-time delivery.

Ideal candidates will have 7+ years of design experience with MCAD, CREO proficiency, and experience managing distributed teams.

Formación

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field required.
• MS in Mechanical Engineering or MBA preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in mechanical design for critical infrastructure systems.
• 7+ years of design experience with a modern MCAD package required.
• 5+ years of design experience with CREO preferred.
• Experience leading distributed teams.
• Willingness to travel ~10% domestically and internationally.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field, or equivalent required.
• MS in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field, or an MBA, preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in mechanical design for critical infrastructure systems.
• Demonstrated success in leading teams to accomplish project implementations on time, on budget, and with high quality.7+ years of design experience with a modern MCAD package required.
• 5+ years of design experience with CREO preferred.
• Experience leading distributed teams.
• Experience leading teams based in either India or China, preferred.
• Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally as required (estimated 10% of travel)
• Solid communications skills, with fluency in both written and spoken English.
