Honeywell Technologies is seeking a senior leader to oversee Value Engineering and Component Engineering across global operations. You will drive margin improvements and coordinate with Engineering and Procurement to refine products and processes.

The role requires 10+ years in VE/CE, strong data analytics, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a large industrial setting. Expect a strategic, high-impact leadership position with global scope.

Formación

• Engineering degree (Bachelor/Master).
• 10+ years experience in Value Engineering and Component Engineering projects.
• Solid knowledge on PMC and/or HGAS product portfolio.
• Experience in an industrial environment of a large global organization.
• Exceptional Change, Process, Data and Analytics Skills.
• Solid knowledge of specific product and process technologies or broad knowledge of multiple processes/systems.
• Experience in Hardware and Software.
• 10+ years of Honeywell-relevant experience (HBT, SPS, AERO, HPS).
• DFSS Green Belt.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the Americas VE/CE Team process engineering team.
• Deliver yearly targets for Value Engineering and Component Engineering for the GBE.
• Address the need to expand key product margins.
• Assess and benchmark current state end-to-end processes through value stream mapping and identify opportunities to gain efficiencies via automation, digitization, simulation, or re-engineering.
• Drive cross-functional and business alignment with factories to improve productivity and margins.
• Drive change and maturity across processes.
• Deliver, baseline and measure success on strategic initiatives.
• Lead a team of high performing engineers, ensure succession planning.
• Develop training plans for the TRR and People Competency Development.

Job Description
Honeywell's Value Engineering (VE) and Component Engineering (CE) Center of Excellence (COE) is a dynamic collective of professionals dedicated to refining product development through innovative engineering and strategic component selection. Working in tandem with GBE's Engineering and Procurement teams, the VE/CE COE is a global entity tasked with the critical mission of enhancing product margins and driving productivity, thereby securing Honeywell's competitive edge in the global market. Our mandate spans across all Strategic Business Groups (SBGs) ensuring that value engineering and component engineering principles are consistently applied to deliver tangible savings and superior products. As a hub of flexibility and rapid adaptation, the VE/CE COE is Honeywell's strategic response to the "ever-evolving" marketplace demands.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Americas VE/CE Team process engineering team
• Deliver the yearly targets for Value Engineering and Component Engineering for the GBE
• Address the need to expand key product margins
• Asses and benchmark current state end to end processes through value stream mapping and identify and opportunities to gain efficiencies upon, through automation, digitization, simulation, or process re-engineering and/or optimization throughout design to delivery processes.
• Drive cross functional and business alignment, driving strategic initiatives in partnership with our factories to improve productivity & to expand product margins
• Drive change and maturity across different processes
• Deliver, baseline and measure success on strategic initiatives
• Lead a team of high performing engineers, as well as people management and coaching leaders to ensure strong succession plan is in place in the team
• Developing training plans for the TRR and People Competency Development.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE:

• Engineering degree (Bachelor /Master)
• 10+ years of Experience managing, ideating and executing Value Engineering and Component Engineering projects
• Solid knowledge on PMC and / or HGAS product portfolio
• Experience in an industrial environment of large global organization
• Exceptional Change, Process, Data and Analytics Skills
• Solid knowledge of specific product and process technologies or broad knowledge of multiple processes and systems
• Experience in Hardware as well as Software
• 10+ years of experience in any business aligned to Honeywell relevance (HBT, SPS, AERO, HPS)
• DFSS Green Belt
