Siemens Energy is seeking a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer to lead engineering activities for turnkey EPC high voltage substation projects. You will perform detailed design for HV substations and transmission projects, applying civil and structural expertise within a dynamic project team.
Responsibilities include review of external packages, creation of detailed steel and overhead bus drawings, and ensuring compliance with standards and constructability.

Participate in a project meeting with the design team to discuss the conceptual designs for an upcoming project. Review and approve an engineering package from an external consultant. This involves checking the accuracy of calculations, compliance with standards, and overall constructability. Create detailed drawings and specifications for steel structures and overhead bus.
Review technical documentation from a manufacturer to ensure it aligns with the project’s specifications. Update the Project Manager on the day's progress, including any potential delays or risks identified during the day. Discuss next steps and adjustments to the project schedule if necessary.
