Siemens Energy is seeking a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer to lead engineering activities for turnkey EPC high voltage substation projects. You will perform detailed design for HV substations and transmission projects, applying civil and structural expertise within a dynamic project team.

Responsibilities include review of external packages, creation of detailed steel and overhead bus drawings, and ensuring compliance with standards and constructability.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural Engineering.
• 5–10+ years of Civil/Structural Engineering experience for HV substations, distribution and generation.
• 5 years of EPC project experience.
• Knowledge of IBC, ASCE, ACI, AISC, ANSI standards.
• Proficiency with structural design software (StaadPro, SAP 2000, RISA, SAG-10, L-Pile) and CAD tools (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation).
• Excellent communication skills and advanced English.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare calculations and drawings for grading, buildings, foundations, steel structures, and overhead bus.
• Develop conceptual designs for pricing; perform civil/structural design and calculations.
• Review outside engineering packages and manufacturer documentation for compliance and constructability.
• Ensure engineering deliverables meet project requirements and schedule; flag delays or risks to Project Manager.
• Support Proposal and Project Execution teams in project delivery and customer meetings.
