SINBON Electronics Co., Ltd. in Mexico is seeking an experienced EHS Specialist to support and coordinate Environmental, Health, and Safety activities in San Luis Potosí. You will help maintain legal compliance and promote a strong safety culture, ensuring a safe, healthy workplace for all employees.

Responsibilities include investigating incidents, driving risk reduction, monitoring EHS KPIs, coordinating training, and ensuring proper waste management and regulatory adherence across the site.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Industrial, Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental Management, or related field.
• Master's degree is a plus.
• 3–5 years of experience in Environmental, Health & Safety in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of NOM-STPS regulations and applicable EH&S legislation.
• Knowledge of EHS management systems and emergency response programs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with workplace accident investigation and corrective/preventive actions.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive and professional attitude.
• Ability to collaborate across departments to promote safety culture.

• Propose and implement improvements to reduce risks and strengthen the company's safety culture.
• Monitor and report Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) KPIs.
• Coordinate emergency prevention, preparedness, and response programs.
• Coordinate EHS induction training for new employees and contractors.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions to improve EHS performance.
• Coordinate activities related to occupational health and medical services.
• Manage follow-up of workplace accidents and occupational illness cases.
• Monitor waste handling, storage, collection, and disposal in compliance with regulations.
• Follow up with waste management providers and ensure proper waste management practices.
• Participate in waste reduction, recycling, and waste recovery programs.
• Monitor NOM-STPS standards and related EHS regulations.
• Prepare monthly EHS reports, presentations, and documentation for management.
• Inspect emergency equipment, fire extinguishers, alarms, and fire protection systems for proper function and compliance.

• Identify, evaluate, and monitor applicable legal requirements related to Environmental, Health, and Safety.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to EHS performance and compliance.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental Management, or a related field.
• Master's degree is a plus.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Environmental, Health & Safety within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of NOM-STPS regulations and applicable Environmental, Health, and Safety legislation.
• Knowledge of EHS management systems and emergency response programs.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
