Job summary

Tech Holding is seeking a Software Engineer in Mexico to build an AI-powered risk intelligence platform. You will own features end to end across backend services, APIs, and integrations, writing specs and acceptance criteria for AI agents to execute.

This is a contract, remote role with daily standups and collaboration with a US-based client team. You will work with Python/TypeScript/Go, REST APIs, SQL databases, and cloud deployments (AWS/GCP/Azure).

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Hands-on use of AI coding agents in daily development.
• Experience with spec-driven development and writing specs.
• Strong in backend or full-stack with modern frameworks.
• Experience with Git-based workflows, CI/CD.
• Experience deploying to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Translate product requirements into precise specs for AI coding agents.
• Use AI coding agents to implement, test, and refine features.
• Own backend services and APIs from spec to production.
• Define acceptance criteria and automated tests upfront.
• Maintain project context files, coding standards, and prompts.
• Review AI-generated and human-written code for quality and security.
• Contribute to improving the spec-driven workflow and CI/CD.
