Job summary

Pocket FM Corp. is seeking a Promo Writer to craft high-impact promotional scripts for our audio series. You will create fresh ads, adapt and localize English concepts into engaging Spanish content, and push for performance improvements across campaigns.

You will collaborate with creative, editorial, production, and marketing teams to deliver production-ready scripts and actionable rework hypotheses, leveraging AI tools where appropriate while preserving creative integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Literature, Creative Writing, Media, Communications, Journalism, Film, or related field.
• Strong writing and storytelling skills for audio, ads, promos, or digital content.
• Excellent command of Spanish with local cultural nuance and audience preferences.
• Good understanding of English with ability to adapt English scripts into natural Spanish.
• Strong sense of narrative structure, emotional pacing, hooks, and cliffhangers.
• Experience in promo writing, ad scriptwriting, trailer writing, fiction writing, or audio storytelling is preferred.
• Ability to write production-ready scripts with clear directions for voice-over and post-production teams.
• Ability to analyze feedback and performance signals to improve creative output.

Responsibilities

• Write fresh promotional ad scripts from scratch for Pocket FM audio series.
• Create engaging long-form promo scripts (30–60 minutes) for campaigns.
• Develop hooks, emotional beats, cliffhangers, and narrative setups to drive listening.
• Adapt English promo concepts into natural Spanish localization.
• Collaborate with editorial, production, localization, and marketing teams.
• Refine existing promos based on feedback and performance insights.
• Provide production-ready scripts with scene flow, dialogue, and production notes.
