Nextracker in Mexico City is seeking a CAD Designer to provide design support to Project Engineers, developing tracker layouts, CAD blocks, mechanical sets, and full construction plan sets. You will review site inputs and assist in selecting product types based on conditions, working with engineers worldwide to update standards and drive value engineering on projects.

Required: a BS/Associates in engineering, 2–5 years in design, proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil, MS Office, and strong

Formación

• BS in Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Associates degree in related field at minimum.
• 2-5 years of experience in project design.
• Thorough knowledge of drafting standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, & AutoCAD Civil.
• Strong organizational skills; ability to work fast-paced; self-motivated team player.
• Knowledge of construction sheet sets and PV plant design is a plus (preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Provide design support to develop tracker layouts, CAD blocks, mechanical sets, and full construction plan sets.
• Review site information, design inputs, and assist in selecting product types based on site conditions.
• Collaborate with engineers across regions to update standards and draft changes.
• Conduct value engineering to lower costs on projects.
• Coordinate with regional designers to create and update product standards and project-related issues.
