The ideal candidate must have 2+ years of experience in AV systems, proficiency in AutoCAD, and solid understanding of AV integration. Formación

We’re looking for a detail-oriented AutoCAD Technician with expertise in Audio Visual (AV) systems to support the design and documentation of AV infrastructure. You’ll play a key role in producing accurate CAD drawings, schematics, and documentation used for the design, installation, and support of AV solutions.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Video Conferencing Rooms, Classroom Technology, and Digital Signage projects, and can collaborate seamlessly with engineers, project managers, and AV designers.

Create and update AutoCAD drawings including floor plans, RCPs, rack elevations, wiring schematics, and system block diagrams.
Collaborate with engineers, PMs, and AV designers to translate technical concepts into accurate documentation.
Integrate AV components (displays, speakers, microphones, control panels) into architectural and MEP drawings.
Ensure AV drawings align with building requirements and industry standards (AVIXA, InfoComm).
Support pre-construction and construction documentation including shop drawings, conduit layouts, and mounting details.
Maintain organized documentation for multiple projects.
Participate in design meetings to ensure accuracy and project alignment.
2+ years of drafting experience in AV/low-voltage systems.
Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D required; 3D a plus).
Solid understanding of AV systems integration (video conferencing, digital signage, classroom AV, control systems).
Familiarity with AV equipment (Crestron, Extron, Biamp, Cisco, Shure, QSC, etc.).
Ability to read and interpret architectural, electrical, and construction drawings.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Degree or certification in CAD drafting, AV technology, or related field preferred.
Experience with Revit, Bluebeam, Visio, or D-Tools.
AVIXA CTS, AutoCAD, or Revit certification.
Knowledge of ADA, NEC, EIA/TIA standards.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (MST). Schedule may be subject to additional paid hours during special project occasions.

Payroll: 21,000 – 26,000 MXN
Direct: 26,000 – 33,000 MXN
