Cooper Standard in Torreón, Mexico is seeking a CAD Designer to develop end items and component geometry (3D/2D) under guidance from program engineers in a CAD environment.

You will create 3D math data and 2D drawings, apply GD&T, and collaborate across design, manufacturing, and suppliers to meet timing and quality targets. This role requires a two-year CAD education and 2+ years of experience, with on-site work in Mexico.

Formación

• Two year CAD education required.
• Typically has two plus years of experience.
• Knowledge of GD&T.

Responsabilidades

• Create and maintain 3D math data and 2D drawings as required for customer manufacturing and internal engineering standards.
• Assist engineers in the design of major vehicle systems, assemblies or components.
• Mentor and support new designers.
• Knowledge of automotive applications, assembly and component design.
• Estimate timing required to perform CAD related assignments and meet customer specified timing.
