Job summary

Carrier seeks a Software Engineer or Computer Scientist to design and maintain eDesign tools for HVAC system design and energy modeling. The role develops desktop and web applications, analyzes requirements, and produces clean code to meet software needs.

You will collaborate with developers, perform tests, troubleshoot, and evaluate new libraries and technologies to keep our tools robust and scalable. Fluent English is required; 3+ years preferred, bachelor's degree required.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C# and .NET desktop development.
• Proficient in JavaScript and ReactJS for front-end.
• Proficient with server-side C#, .NET and Entity Framework.
• Understanding of OO design and analysis.
• Knowledge of AWS deployment practices.
• Experience with Visual Studio, XML, JSON, WPF, XAML.
• Strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Experience with AI tools for software development.
• 3+ years of software engineer experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Software Eng or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop desktop and web-based software for HVAC design and energy modeling.
