Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a passionate Calculation Engine Engineer to join the Modeling and Simulation team. You will apply advanced thermodynamics, heat transfer, and numerical methods to develop scalable calculation engines for Carrier’s HVAC portfolio.

Responsibilities include designing engines, collaborating across functions, and ensuring model accuracy and deployment in platforms. Strong programming in Python/Modelica/C++ is expected, with 2+ years of experience and a Master’s

Formación

• Master’s degree required with 2+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of heat transfer, thermodynamics, numerical analysis, and nonlinear systems.
• Hands-on programming in Python, Modelica, or C++.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced calculation engines for HVAC products and sales tools.
• Apply heat transfer, thermodynamics, and numerical methods to build robust algorithms.
• Collaborate with optimization engineers to create algorithms for optimal system selection.
• Work cross-functionally with marketing, product engineering, and global teams.
• Support integration and deployment of engines into modeling and configuration platforms.
• Ensure model accuracy, robustness, and maintainability through validation and testing.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
