Carrier is seeking a Staff Controls Engineer to lead globally distributed teams in developing robust control solutions for HVAC and refrigeration systems. Work spans from conceptual design to lab testing and field trials, applying model-based engineering to real products.
The role emphasizes collaboration with system engineers, verification across MIL/SIL/HIL, and hands-on testing in laboratory settings to improve model fidelity and control performance.
Formación
- B.S. in Electrical, Control, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering with 7+ years of controls experience.
- Experience with model-based design methods and control architectures.
- Strong background in analysis, verification, and test of control software.
Responsabilidades
- Lead small cross-disciplinary teams of engineers to deliver production-ready control solutions.
- Define plans for development and verification, and conduct technical reviews with stakeholders.
- Develop and calibrate physics-based plant models and control algorithms.
- Perform MIL/SIL/HIL testing and hands-on lab testing to validate performance.
