Carrier Global Corporation in Mexico is seeking a Software Engineer or Computer Scientist to join our team and contribute to the design and maintenance of eDesign software tools for HVAC system design and energy modeling in buildings.

You will develop desktop and web applications using C#, .NET, ReactJS, and AWS, perform unit and system tests, and collaborate with fellow developers to deliver robust software.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS or SE.
• 3+ years of software development preferred.
• Strong English communication and collaboration skills.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated, results-oriented Software Engineer or Computer Scientist to join our team. The Software Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining Carrier eDesign software-based tools for the design and optimization of heating ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in buildings.

Key Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

• Developing desktop and web-based software applications for HVAC system design and energy modeling.
• Analyzing software requirements and design software solutions.
• Producing clean, efficient code that meets software requirements.
• Performing unit and system testing.
• Working collaboratively with other developers on development projects.
• Maintaining, troubleshooting, and debug existing software.
• Contributing to establishing department guidelines and standards for development of software.
• Evaluating and identifying new libraries, tools, and technologies for use by the software development team, as needed.

Requirements

• Proficient with desktop software development using C#, .NET.
• Proficient with front-end web technologies including JavaScript and ReactJS
• Proficient with server-side and back-end technologies including C#, .NET, and Entity Framework.
• Understanding of object-oriented design and analysis (OOD and OOA)
• Knowledge of software development and deployment practices on AWS.
• Technology experience including Microsoft Visual Studio, XML, JSON, WPF, XAML.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal, writing, and presentation communication skills
• High level of verbal and written English language fluency.
• Experience using agentic AI tools for software development
• 3+ years of work experience as software engineer preferred but not required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field of study.
