• Develop, optimize, and support database-driven applications ensuring performance and reliability.
• Participate in application design discussions and contribute to solution architecture decisions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following established coding standards and best practices.
• Perform code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the development team.
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve application defects and performance issues.
• Support application deployments and production releases while ensuring system stability.
• Mentor junior team members and share technical knowledge across the team.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies and collaborate effectively within distributed development environments.
• Ensure adherence to Capgemini standards, governance processes, and delivery methodologies.

Your Role As a Java Developer

you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions for Capgemini’s global clients. You will leverage modern Java technologies, Spring Framework, microservices architecture, and database technologies to deliver scalable and reliable applications. Working within a collaborative environment, you will partner with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes while contributing to technical excellence and innovation.

Your Profile

• Proven experience developing software solutions using Java, Spring Framework, and microservices architecture
• Strong understanding of database technologies and application integration patterns
• Experience delivering enterprise applications in Banking or Financial Services environments
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience engaging clients and business stakeholders
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to mentor and guide fellow developers
• Familiarity with Agile development practices and modern software engineering methodologies
