Capgemini is seeking a Java Developer to design, develop and maintain enterprise software for global clients. You will leverage Java, Spring Framework, and microservices to deliver scalable solutions in a collaborative, cross-functional environment with a focus on technical excellence.

Based in Hybrid - Aguascalientes, Mexico, you will work with stakeholders throughout the SDLC, mentor junior team members, and contribute to agile ceremonies to ensure quality and timely delivery.

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Framework.
• Build scalable, resilient microservices aligned with business and technical requirements.

• Participate in design discussions and contribute to solution architecture decisions.

Your Role

As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions for Capgemini’s global clients. You will leverage modern Java technologies, Spring Framework, microservices architecture, and database technologies to deliver scalable and reliable applications. Working within a collaborative environment, you will partner with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes while contributing to technical excellence and innovation.

Responsibilities & Scope

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Framework
• Build scalable and resilient microservices-based solutions aligned with business and technical requirements
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, clients, and cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle
• Develop, optimize, and support database-driven applications ensuring performance and reliability
• Participate in application design discussions and contribute to solution architecture decisions
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following established coding standards and best practices
• Perform code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the development team
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve application defects and performance issues
• Support application deployments and production releases while ensuring system stability
• Mentor junior team members and share technical knowledge across the team
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies and collaborate effectively within distributed development environments
• Ensure adherence to Capgemini standards, governance processes, and delivery methodologies

Your Profile

• Proven experience developing software solutions using Java, Spring Framework, and microservices architecture
• Strong understanding of database technologies and application integration patterns
• Experience delivering enterprise applications in Banking or Financial Services environments
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience engaging clients and business stakeholders
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to mentor and guide fellow developers

Familiarity with Agile development practices and modern software engineering methodologies
