Capgemini México busca un Desarrollador Senior Java para diseñar, desarrollar y entregar soluciones empresariales escalables en entornos cloud. Trabajarás a lo largo del ciclo de vida del software, con énfasis en Java, Spring, Hibernate y arquitecturas de microservicios.

El rol implica colaborar con equipos multifuncionales en un entorno Agile, desarrollar RESTful APIs, y participar en prácticas de DevOps para garantizar rendimiento, seguridad y disponibilidad.

Formación

• 6–10 años de experiencia en desarrollo Java para aplicaciones empresariales.
• Experiencia en REST, microservicios y arquitectura moderna de software.
• Conocimientos en Azure y/o AWS para desplegar y escalar soluciones.

Responsabilidades

• Diseñar, desarrollar y mantener backends escalables con Java, Spring y Hibernate.
• Construir APIs REST para integraciones empresariales.
• Trabajar en arquitecturas cloud-native y microservicios en entornos Agile.
• Apoyar pipelines CI/CD, contenedores y DevOps para despliegues.
• Colaborar con equipos de frontend (Angular/React) y operaciones de TI.

Your Role As a Senior Java Developer

you will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering scalable, high-performance enterprise applications. You will work across the full software development lifecycle, building cloud-native and microservices-based solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. This role requires deep technical expertise in Java technologies, a strong understanding of modern software architecture, and a passion for delivering reliable and innovative solutions that drive business value.

Responsibilities & Scope

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate
• Build and support cloud-native, microservices-based architectures following industry best practices
• Develop and enhance RESTful APIs to support enterprise-grade integrations and business services
• Contribute to front-end development initiatives using Angular or React with JavaScript/TypeScript
• Design solutions optimized for performance, scalability, security, and maintainability
• Develop and deploy applications on Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms
• Implement DevOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and automated deployments
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code while adhering to coding standards and engineering best practices
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback to improve software quality
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective resolutions
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing within the team
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
• Support system performance tuning, optimization initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts
• Contribute to distributed systems design and evaluate emerging technologies, including AI-assisted development tools

Your Profile

• 6 to 10 years of experience in Java software development delivering enterprise-scale applications
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and microservices architecture
• Hands-on experience developing REST APIs and cloud-native applications on Azure and/or AWS
• Experience with Angular or React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript development practices
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, Git, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and DevOps practices
• Experience designing scalable, secure, and highly available distributed systems
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills
