Capgemini Mexico is seeking a Senior Java Developer to design, develop, and deliver scalable enterprise applications across the full software lifecycle.

You will work with Java, Spring, cloud-native architectures on Azure/AWS, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to produce reliable, high-performance solutions.

• 6 to 10 years of experience delivering enterprise-scale Java applications.
• Deep expertise in Java, Spring, Spring Boot and microservices.
• Hands-on REST API design and cloud-native development on Azure/AWS.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java, Spring, Spring Boot and Hibernate.
• Build cloud-native microservices architectures and support RESTful APIs for integrations.
• Contribute to frontend initiatives with Angular or React and TypeScript.
• Deploy applications on Azure and/or AWS; implement CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Mentor juniors, participate in code reviews, and support performance tuning.

Senior Java Developer

As a Senior Java Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering scalable, high-performance enterprise applications. You will work across the full software development lifecycle, building cloud-native and microservices-based solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. This role requires deep technical expertise in Java technologies, a strong understanding of modern software architecture, and a passion for delivering reliable and innovative solutions that drive business value.

Responsibilities & Scope

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate


• Build and support cloud-native, microservices-based architectures following industry best practices


• Develop and enhance RESTful APIs to support enterprise-grade integrations and business services


• Contribute to front-end development initiatives using Angular or React with JavaScript/TypeScript


• Design solutions optimized for performance, scalability, security, and maintainability


• Develop and deploy applications on Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms


• Implement DevOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and automated deployments


• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code while adhering to coding standards and engineering best practices


• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback to improve software quality


• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective resolutions


• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing within the team


• Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions


• Support system performance tuning, optimization initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts


• Contribute to distributed systems design and evaluate emerging technologies, including AI-assisted development tools

Your Profile

• 6 to 10 years of experience in Java software development delivering enterprise-scale applications


• Strong expertise in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and microservices architecture


• Hands-on experience developing REST APIs and cloud-native applications on Azure and/or AWS


• Experience with Angular or React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript development practices


• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, Git, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and DevOps practices


• Experience designing scalable, secure, and highly available distributed systems


• Excellent problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills
