Capgemini Engineering in Mexico is seeking a Java backend developer to design, implement, and maintain REST APIs and microservices. You will work on scalable backend systems and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software.

The role requires hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices, plus a good command of English. You’ll join a global engineering team that values innovation and quality.

Formación

• 3-5 years of experience in Java backend development.
• Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs and Microservices.
• Familiarity with Spring Security, Maven, Git, Jenkins and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB).

Your role

• Develop and maintain REST APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Implement business logic following scalable and secure microservices architecture principles.
• Integrate backend services with internal platforms, external applications, and legacy systems.
• Support CI/CD processes, deployments, and troubleshooting activities across environments.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, Architects, and development teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Your profile

• 3-5 years of experience in Java backend development.
• Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices.
• Familiarity with Spring Security, Maven, Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and relational or NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB).
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience working in Agile development environments.
• Intermediate Advanced English.

Nice To Have

• Experience with Apache Camel or Spring Cloud.
• Exposure to OpenShift and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Knowledge of SOAP services and API governance practices.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging technologies.
