If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.## Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a **SMT Process Engineer** located in Guadalajara, **North Campus.**Reporting to the **Process Engineering Manager** the **SMT Process Engineer** is responsible for developing, optimizing, and sustaining SMT manufacturing processes to achieve world-class quality, productivity, and delivery performance. You will collaborate with Production, Quality, Test, and Engineering teams to drive process improvements, troubleshoot manufacturing challenges, and support new product introductions in a high-volume electronics manufacturing environment.**What a typical day looks like:** * Supervise technical activities in SMT processes and coordinate the team.* Develop, optimize, and sustain SMT manufacturing processes.* Create and maintain equipment programs for DEK, SPI, AOI, Pick & Place, and related SMT equipment.* Develop and validate reflow profiles and solder paste processes.* Analyze process capability (CPK) and implement corrective actions to improve process stability.* Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting of PCB assembly issues.* Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on yield improvement, cycle time reduction, and scrap reduction.* Coordinate process validations, tooling development, and fixture implementation.* Support engineering changes, process transfers, and new product introductions (NPI).* Conduct capacity analysis, line balancing, and bottleneck identification.* Develop manufacturing documentation, work instructions, visual aids, and process procedures.* Ensure compliance with customer specifications, IPC standards, and manufacturing requirements.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production and quality issues.**The experience we’re looking to add to our team:** * BA/BS mechatronic engineer, industrial engineer or similar.* Sr experience in SMT Process Engineering within the electronics manufacturing industry.* Hands-on experience with SMT processes including: Screen Printing, SPI, Pick & Place, Reflow, AOI, PTH Processes.* Experience with stencil design and solder paste process optimization.* Strong knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards.* Experience performing process capability studies (CPK).* Familiarity with Gerber files, CAD tools, and manufacturing documentation.* Strong background in Root Cause Analysis, 8D, Fishbone, 5 Why, and DOE methodologies.* Experience supporting NPI and process validation activities.* Intermediate English communication skills.* Availability shift.**What you’ll receive for the great work you provide:*** Competitive Salary.* Life & Medical insurance.* Christmas Bonus.* Food Coupons.* Saving Fund.* Life Insurance.
