Flex is seeking a Sr Industrial Engineer in Guadalajara to drive productivity by optimizing processes, staffing, and equipment use. You’ll analyze workflows, support NPI, and provide input for process improvements across production lines.

The role requires a BA/BS in Industrial Engineering or equivalent, plus experience in electronics manufacturing and basic lean principles. Advanced English is required; ISO/IPC knowledge is a plus.

• Experience in similar position or Industrial Engineer.
• Advanced English spoken and written.
• Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
• Process mapping (VSM) introductory ability.
• Continuous improvement methodologies: Kaizen, 5S, process standardization.
• Production & facilities management: capacity analysis, line balancing, maintenance.
• Lean & quality standards: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OSHA, IPC.
• Electronics manufacturing: SMT, PCB assembly, clean room environments.

Responsabilidades

• Provide process time estimation to the quote team.
• Simulate process, materials and manufacturing workflow; input to process engineer.
• Coordinate process planning and setup during NPI with takt, cycle time and direct labor.
• Review results during prototyping and trials; feed NPIs and sales team.
• Analyze workforce utilization, facility layout, and production data to optimize use of workers and equipment.
