Job summary

OmniOn Power Inc. in Matamoros, Mexico, seeks a Cost Efficiency Manager to identify and execute margin-improvement initiatives across manufacturing and supply.

You will build should-cost models, lead ToW programs, and partner with engineering and operations to cut total cost while maintaining supply continuity. You will benchmark suppliers, drive a multi-million dollar cost-out pipeline, and report progress to sourcing leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA) in Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance or related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Sourcing, Procurement, Cost Engineering, or Manufacturing operations within a global footprint.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and deploy bottom-up “should-cost” models for electronics and components.
• Lead and project-manage Transfer of Work to cost-effective suppliers.
• Partner with Engineering and Manufacturing for VA/VE workshops to reduce costs.
• Track and drive a multi-million-dollar cost savings pipeline.
• Benchmark global market drivers, commodity prices, and labor costs to find cost-reduction opportunities.
• Collaborate with Plant Operations, Product Management, Quality and Logistics to ensure timely source qualification.
• Prepare and present cost-down metrics and risk registers to sourcing leadership.
