Job summary

Ford is seeking an experienced Machining Maintenance Process Coach to lead an on-shift team of unionized electromechanical technicians. You will maximize uptime of 4- and 5-axis CNC cells, drive MTTR reduction, and ensure TPM/Maximo compliance with strict adherence to LOTO/ZES protocols.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanical/Mechatronics/Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
3 to 5+ years of experience in automated industrial plant maintenance, with at least 2 years supervising or coordinating specialized technical personnel.

Responsibilities

Act as on-shift authority to ensure zero energy state (LOTO) and lockout/tagout compliance.
Lead rapid response to line stoppages and MTTR reduction across CNC centers and automation lines.
Direct and develop the shift’s unionized maintenance technicians, distributing work orders fairly.
Maintain critical subsystems: CNC kinematics and spindles, hydraulic systems, coolant delivery, and automation/gantry systems.
Manage preventive and predictive maintenance execution using Maximo and planned downtime.
Oversee spare parts checkout and asset management, including repair/warranty coordination.
