Baker Hughes is seeking a Services Experienced Professional - Applications Engineering to join our global team in Mexico. You will manage the Field Incident Management Process, lead investigations, and develop RCA reports to improve reliability across lifecycle stages.

You will collaborate with engineering and field teams, apply Six-Sigma DMAIC methods, and drive corrective actions while sharing lessons learned to prevent recurrences. The role requires strong leadership and English proficiency.

• Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics.

Responsabilidades

• Lead / participate in Incident Investigation, ensuring end to end process is considered during root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Manage the Job Cycle (MtJC) process and field incident management steps (FIMP) including RCA and field bulletins.
• Identify FRACAS trends, analyze performance data, and report KPIs to drive improvements.
• Develop RCA reports, cause maps, and facilitate corrective action boards.
• Share lessons learned with field personnel and collaborate across reliability engineering teams.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure compliance with Manage the Job Cycle (MtJC) process
• Lead / participate in Incident Investigation, ensuring the end to end process is considered, (including job planning, preparation, and execution), when determining incident root cause(s) alongside appropriate corrective actions
• Focuses on preventing failures during the lifecycle management of a product or service through active monitoring and corrective action planning
  • Supports job planning and preparation by participating in Risk Assessment / deviation waiver / Management of Change (RA / DWR/ MOC) and deployment readiness assessment processes (DRA)
  • Participates in the engineering design review process
• Execute the key steps outlined within the Field Incident Management Process (FIMP).
  • Manage the FRACAS DMAIC stages
  • Apply root cause analysis (RCA) processes
  • Develop and review cause maps
  • Facilitate or lead incident investigations
  • Develops RCA reports and technical or field bulletins
  • Facilitate or lead incident review and corrective action boards
• Identify FRACAS trends to identify and prioritise failure modes to investigate for corrective actions
  • Analyze performance data and monitor performance
  • Identify and report performance trends
  • Develop and report key performance indicators as needed
• Share lessons learned with the field population
• Collaborates across reliability engineering community to facilitate knowledge transfer
• Acts as a subject matter expert for respective area to service delivery and supply chain functions
• Support new product development in all aspects relevant to reliability engineering, through direct liaison with engineering and the deploying region
• Other PL Specifics responsibilities
• Handles special projects as required

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics
• Excellent leadership, strong interpersonal, influencing and planning skills.
• Ability to work in a global matrix organization
• Understanding of the Service Delivery process and the technical nature of the business

DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS:

• Preferred prior experience includes roles such as: Field Engineer/Specialist or Remote Professional, product development, applications engineer, AMO engineer or other technical disciplines
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Facilitation and presentation skills.
• Ability to work and communicate well with others.
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English.
• Previous experience in presenting detailed and technical information preferred.
• Project Management Skills.
• Advanced problem solving skills with respect to Applied Engineering, Design and Technology Development.
• Strong Six-Sigma DMAIC process and business intelligence knowledge.
• Self-contained, self-motivated and structured approach to work within a global, interdisciplinary team under limited supervision
• A strong commitment to learning.
