Baker Hughes, a global energy technology leader, seeks an experienced professional to support reliability engineering and service delivery in our Mexican operations. You will participate in incident investigations, lead RCA activities, and manage risk, change and DAIC processes while collaborating with engineering and field teams.

Ideal candidates have Six Sigma DMAIC expertise, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to work in a global matrix organization.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics.
• Excellent leadership, strong interpersonal, influencing and planning skills.
• Ability to work in a global matrix organization.
• Understanding of the Service Delivery process and the technical nature of the business.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure compliance with Manage the Job Cycle (MtJC) process.
• Lead / participate in Incident Investigation with end-to-end planning, preparation and execution.
• Support risk assessment, deviation waiver and change management processes during job planning.
• Execute Field Incident Management Process (FIMP) and manage FRACAS DMAIC stages.
• Apply RCA processes and develop action-oriented corrective actions and reports.
• Analyze performance data, identify trends, and report KPIs; share lessons learned.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure compliance with Manage the Job Cycle (MtJC) process
• Lead / participate in Incident Investigation, ensuring the end to end process is considered, (including job planning, preparation, and execution), when determining incident root cause(s) alongside appropriate corrective actions
• Focuses on preventing failures during the lifecycle management of a product or service through active monitoring and corrective action planning
  • Supports job planning and preparation by participating in Risk Assessment / deviation waiver / Management of Change (RA / DWR/ MOC) and deployment readiness assessment processes (DRA)
  • Participates in the engineering design review process
• Execute the key steps outlined within the Field Incident Management Process (FIMP).
  • Manage the FRACAS DMAIC stages
  • Apply root cause analysis (RCA) processes
  • Develop and review cause maps
  • Facilitate or lead incident investigations
  • Develops RCA reports and technical or field bulletins
  • Facilitate or lead incident review and corrective action boards
• Identify FRACAS trends to identify and prioritize failure modes to investigate for corrective actions
  • Analyze performance data and monitor performance
  • Identify and report performance trends
  • Develop and report key performance indicators as needed
• Share lessons learned with the field population
• Collaborates across reliability engineering community to facilitate knowledge transfer
• Acts as a subject matter expert for respective area to service delivery and supply chain functions
• Support new product development in all aspects relevant to reliability engineering, through direct liaison with engineering and the deploying region
• Other PL Specifics responsibilities
• Handles special projects as required

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics
• Excellent leadership, strong interpersonal, influencing and planning skills.
• Ability to work in a global matrix organization
• Understanding of the Service Delivery process and the technical nature of the business

DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS:

• Preferred prior experience includes roles such as: Field Engineer/Specialist or Remote Professional, product development, applications engineer, AMO engineer or other technical disciplines
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Facilitation and presentation skills.
• Ability to work and communicate well with others.
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English.
• Previous experience in presenting detailed and technical information preferred.
• Project Management Skills.
• Advanced problem solving skills with respect to Applied Engineering, Design and Technology Development.
• Strong Six-Sigma DMAIC process and business intelligence knowledge.
• Self-contained, self-motivated and structured approach to work within a global, interdisciplinary team under limited supervision
• A strong commitment to learning.
